Single-user Mode
Allows full control of the instance. Anyone with the password can modify settings, view chats, and change configurations.
Password Protection
- Toggle Password Protect Instance to enable.
- Enter the desired password.
- Can be disabled or reset at any time while logged in.
Multi-user Mode
Enables role-based access control (RBAC). Warning: Once enabled, you cannot revert to single-user mode.
User Roles
- Admin: Full system access.
- Manager: Manage all workspaces and properties. Cannot modify LLM, Embedder, or Vector database settings.
- Default: Chat access only to explicitly assigned workspaces. No access to workspace management or system settings.
Enabling Multi-user Mode
- Toggle Enable multi-user mode.
- Input the username and password for the initial admin account.
- Authenticate with the new credentials after being logged out.
