Sync Setup (Desktop / Cloud Integration)
Prerequisites (Desktop Host Only)
- Navigate to Settings > Admin > General.
- Enable Enable Network Discovery (binds service to
0.0.0.0 on LAN).
Connection Steps
- On the host instance (Desktop/Cloud), navigate to Tools > AnythingLLM Mobile.
- Open the AnythingLLM Mobile app.
- Scan the displayed QR code to sync workspaces, threads, and chats.
- Model Selection: Restricted to pre-selected, curated models. Custom model downloads are currently disabled.
- Custom Agent Tools / MCP: Native mobile customization is unsupported. Sync with a Desktop or Cloud instance to use custom tools.
