Data Location & Telemetry Opt-Out
- Default Behavior: All messages, chat histories, and documents are stored locally on the host device. No content is transmitted.
- Telemetry Control: Telemetry can be fully disabled in the application settings.
- Telemetry Codebase Reference: Telemetry functions are handled via
.sendTelemetry(viewable in theMintplex-Labs/anything-llmrepository).
Network Connections & Data Processing
When telemetry or external services are used, the application interacts with:
- AnythingLLM Community Hub: Optional connection requesting standard headers (IP address, user agent).
- PostHog: Telemetry collection service (https://posthog.com/privacy).
- Cloudflare: CDN services (https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy).
- Support Email: Correspondence sent to
team@mintplexlabs.comprocesses the sender’s email address and message body.
