MacOS

Manual Installation

1. Download the latest .dmg from https://anythingllm.com/download.
2. Run the installer to overwrite the existing application. (Storage and progress are persisted).

Homebrew (Only if originally installed via Homebrew)

Run the update command:

brew update && brew upgrade --cask anythingllm

Windows

1. Download the latest .exe from https://anythingllm.com/download.
2. Run the installer to overwrite the existing application. (Storage and progress are persisted).

---

Linux

1. Download the latest .AppImage from https://anythingllm.com/download.
2. Execute the new .AppImage (data persists automatically).
3. Delete the old .AppImage file.
