Requirements
- OS Support: macOS (v1.15.0+), Windows. Linux is not supported.
- macOS Permissions: Requires Input Monitoring and Accessibility permissions. On-Focus Suggestions requires Screen Recording permission.
- Licensing: Free tier has daily limits on accepted completions. AnythingLLM Pro offers unlimited accepted completions.
Configuration Settings
Path: Settings → Magic Tab

Model Tiers

macOS Troubleshooting & Manual Permission Reset
If permissions fail to register:
- Force quit AnythingLLM.
- Open macOS System Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Manually add AnythingLLM to:
- Accessibility
- Input Monitoring
- Screen Recording (if using On-Focus Suggestions)
- Restart AnythingLLM.
- Navigate to Settings → Magic Tab, toggle the feature off, then back on.
- Test functionality by enabling On Focus Suggestion + Animated Border and clicking into any text field to verify the border highlight.
